Notice of Annual General Meeting

January 18th, 2026 2PM at St. Paul’s Church, Stella

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General Meeting of the members of the Amherst Island Community Café (a.k.a., “the Back Kitchen”) will be held on January 18th, 2026, commencing at 2:00 pm in the church hall at St. Paul’s, 1955 Stella Forty Ft Road, Stella, ON. To the extent possible, this meeting will also be held virtually for those who cannot attend in person. The zoom link will be provided one week prior to the meeting.

AGENDA

1. Report of the Chair on the operations of the Back Kitchen for 2025
2. Update on Fundraising and Grants in 2025
3. Report of the Treasurer on the finances of the Corporation
- MOTION: To receive the report of the Treasurer
4. Election of Auditors for the coming year
- MOTION: to authorize the Board to appoint the auditors and establish their compensation
5. Corporate motion to ratify the acts of the Directors in the previous year
- MOTION: That all acts including the proceedings, appointments, elections and payments enacted, made, done and taken by the Directors and Officers of the Amherst Island Community Café be approved, ratified, and confirmed.
6. Any other business that may properly come before the meeting
7. Adjournment
