End-of-Season Blowout Weekend

This is it! It’s our final weekend of the 2025 season at The Back Kitchen! We’re wrapping up with a few special events and we’d love to see you before we close up until spring 2026.

Fish Friday β€” October 10, 5-7 PM

Our final Fish Friday of the season! Enjoy crispy beer-battered haddock (1 or 2 pieces) with fries and house-made coleslaw.

Order online ahead of time and choose your pickup time between 5 PM and 7 PM to guarantee your order. Online or in-person orders only. Pre-order at thebackkitchen.ca

Saturday Donuts - October 11, 10 AM until they’re gone

Terry’s doing a “clean-out-the-cupboards” mix of donut flavours - expect a fun variety featuring ingredients like hazelnuts and strawberries. The exact lineup will be announced Saturday morning on our socials.

Thanksgiving Dinner - Sunday, October 12, 5–7 PM

Celebrate Thanksgiving with your BK family! We’ll be serving turkey with all the fixings - stuffing, potatoes, and sides - with ice cream for dessert. Available for dine-in or take-out. Pre-order online at thebackkitchen.ca

“Eat the BK” Day - Monday, October 13, starting at 10 AM

We’re finishing the season by clearing out the kitchen! Expect discounts on food items while supplies last - what’s on offer depends on what’s left in the cupboards.

“We’ve had our best season in years” - thanks to everyone who made it happen.

To Terry and our incredible kitchen crew for keeping the good food coming, our volunteer board for keeping the lights on and the wheels turning, and to all the volunteers who tend the gardens, help in the kitchen (special shout-out to Bonnie on Fish Fridays!), and lend a hand wherever it’s needed - thank you.
