About Perley: Perley is a rock band hailing from Toronto and Amherst Island, with roots stretching to Barrie, Nova Scotia, Alberta, and California. Formed in 2017 from laid-back jam sessions, the group began as an outlet for singer-songwriter David Perley’s original music. Perley pairs soulful melodies and lyrics with hard-hitting, sophisticated percussion, conjuring the atmospheres and tones of indie, shoegaze, punk, and progressive rock. They’ve brought their sound to stages in Toronto and Stella, Ontario.
